Return and Refund Policy

Many of our products are industrial equipment, specialized weighing systems, imported items, custom-built solutions, or installation-based projects. As a result, returns and refunds are subject to the conditions outlined below.

The following are strictly non-refundable:

• Weighbridges and truck scales
• Custom-built equipment
• Imported products ordered specifically for a customer
• Installation services
• Calibration services
• Maintenance services
• Software licenses
• Special-order products
• Products manufactured or modified to customer specifications

Once procurement, production, shipping, installation, or project execution has commenced, payments made shall not be refundable.

Deposits paid for products, projects, or services are non-refundable where:

• Procurement has commenced
• Manufacturing has commenced
• Importation has commenced
• Installation has been scheduled
• Resources have been allocated to the project

Customers are advised to confirm all specifications before making payment.

A product may be considered for replacement if:

• It arrives damaged due to manufacturing defects
• It is materially different from the approved specification
• The defect is reported within 7 days of delivery

All claims must be accompanied by:

• Proof of purchase
• Photographs or videos showing the issue
• Product serial number (where applicable)

Kira Scales Limited reserves the right to inspect and verify all claims before approving any replacement.

Customers are responsible for confirming product specifications before placing orders.

Returns or refunds shall not be granted where:

• The wrong product was ordered by the customer
• The customer changed their requirements after purchase
• The customer failed to review specifications before payment

Once equipment has been installed, commissioned, tested, or accepted by the customer, it shall not be eligible for return or refund. Any subsequent issues shall be handled in accordance with the applicable warranty terms.

Orders may only be cancelled before procurement, production, importation, shipping, or installation activities begin. If costs have already been incurred, Kira Scales Limited reserves the right to deduct all applicable expenses before considering any partial refund.

Where a refund is approved:

• Refunds shall be processed using the original payment method where possible.
• Processing times may vary depending on banking institutions and payment providers.
• Administrative, transaction, shipping, procurement, and handling costs may be deducted where applicable.

Customers who refuse delivery of correctly supplied products may be responsible for:

• Transportation charges
• Return logistics costs
• Storage costs
• Administrative charges

Any approved refund shall be reduced by such costs.

Kira Scales Limited shall not be liable for:

• Loss of profit or contracts
• Business interruption or operational downtime
• Indirect or consequential damages arising from returned, delayed, repaired, or replaced products

Kira Scales Limited reserves the right to make the final determination regarding eligibility for returns, replacements, exchanges, or refunds after review of all relevant facts and supporting documentation.
