Traffic lights and boom barriers bring order to a busy weighbridge. Red and green lights tell drivers when to drive on and when to leave, while automatic barriers stop a second truck rolling onto the deck before the first weighing is complete.

In Nigeria they are used at quarries, cement and grain depots, ports, fuel depots and factories where many trucks queue each day. They reduce errors caused by trucks not fully on the deck, protect the operator's cabin area and support automated or unmanned weighing.
