Weighbridge Civil Works & Foundation Package, up to 24 m

A weighbridge is only as accurate as the ground it stands on. Our civil works package covers the design and construction of the reinforced concrete foundation, load cell plinths, approach ramps and, for pit-type bridges, the pit walls and drainage.

It is for any business installing a new weighbridge or replacing a failed foundation in Nigeria: quarries, factories, farms, ports, depots and construction yards. Poor foundations are one of the most common causes of drifting readings and damaged load cells, especially on soft or waterlogged ground.

We work to the weighbridge manufacturer's foundation drawing and check levels before the deck is placed. The work can be quoted on its own or together with a new weighbridge supply and installation. Pricing depends on deck length, capacity, soil conditions, surface or pit design and site location, so this service is quoted after a site visit.
