Tanker / Truck-Mounted Tank Weighing Load Cell Kit – 4 to 6 Points

A truck-mounted tank weighing kit lets a tanker or bulk vehicle weigh its own load. Low-profile load cells are fitted between the chassis rails and the tank or body sub-frame, and an in-cab indicator shows gross or net weight while loading and offloading.

In Nigeria it suits fuel and diesel tankers, water tankers, LPG bobtails, bulk cement and flour tankers, and feed or fertiliser trucks. Fleet operators use it to avoid overloading, cut disputes over short delivery, and keep an independent check on what leaves and arrives at depots.

On-board weighing is very useful for checking loads, but it is normally an indicative system; trade transactions and axle-load enforcement should still be confirmed on a calibrated weighbridge.
