Silo / Hopper Weighing System – 10 to 200 Tonnes

A silo or hopper weighing system measures the actual weight of material inside a silo, bin or weigh hopper. Heavy-duty compression or shear beam load cells are installed under the silo legs or hopper brackets, and their signals are combined in a junction box and shown on a digital indicator in the control room or at ground level.

Nigerian users include flour and feed mills, rice mills, maize and grain stores, cement and block plants, concrete batching sites and plastics factories. Accurate silo weight helps with stock control, reordering, batching and spotting losses or theft.
