A palm oil screw press squeezes crude red palm oil out of boiled and digested palm fruit. A rotating steel screw pushes the mash against a perforated cage and cone, so oil and water drain out while the pressed fibre and nuts are discharged at the end.
It is used by small and medium palm oil mills, cooperatives and processors across the palm belt of Nigeria, including Imo, Abia, Anambra, Enugu, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Rivers, Delta, Edo, Ondo, Ogun and Osun. It extracts more oil with far less labour than traditional foot pressing or manual pressing.
The press is normally used after a steriliser/boiler and digester, followed by an oil clarifier. Kira Scales can supply platform scales to weigh fresh fruit bunches and drum or tank scales to measure oil output, helping you track extraction rates.
We deliver nationwide to all 36 states and the FCT. Tell us how many tonnes of fruit you process daily, and request a quote.
