An LPG storage tank weighing system measures the actual mass of gas in a tank by placing load cells under the saddles or legs. Because LPG is sold by weight, weighing the tank gives a direct stock figure in kilograms that is not affected by temperature changes the way level gauges can be.
It is used by LPG retail plants and skid stations, cylinder filling plants, depots, hotels, hospitals, bakeries and factories with bulk gas storage across Nigeria. Operators use it to reconcile deliveries from bridgers, track daily sales, spot leaks or losses and plan reordering.
Each installation starts with a site survey of tank size, supports, pipework and hazardous area zoning. Kira Scales then designs the load cell layout, supplies the hardware, installs, calibrates and trains your staff. Lifting of the tank and any civil or piping changes are coordinated with your gas engineer.
We work in all 36 states and the FCT. Share your tank capacity and drawings and request a quote.
