The handheld bag closer is a portable electric sewing machine for closing filled woven polypropylene, jute, paper and laminated sacks. It sews a strong single-thread chain stitch across the bag mouth in seconds and trims the thread automatically, replacing slow hand stitching.
It is popular with rice millers, grain and maize traders, feed mills, fertiliser distributors, flour and garri producers, and warehouses across Nigeria that bag products in 10 kg to 50 kg sacks.
The machine is normally supplied with a starter needle set, basic tools and a spool of bag-closing thread. Spare needles, loopers and thread cones are available, and we can show your staff how to thread and maintain the machine.
