Drum Scale / Barrel Scale – 300 kg to 600 kg, Low Profile with Ramp

A drum scale is a low-profile platform scale built for weighing 200 litre drums, barrels and kegs. The low deck and short ramp let a drum trolley roll straight on, so heavy drums do not need lifting, and the indicator shows gross, net or tare weight for accurate filling.

In Nigeria drum scales are used by lubricant blenders, paint and chemical factories, palm oil and vegetable oil dealers, honey and syrup packers, pharmaceutical plants and fuel and solvent distributors. Filling by weight avoids under- and over-filling and gives a clear record for customers.

• Capacity options of 300 kg and 600 kg
• Low-profile steel or stainless steel platform with loading ramp
• Single or four load cells with protective frame
• Digital indicator with tare, hold and accumulation; mains and rechargeable battery
• Optional printer, RS232 output or filling set points

Kira Scales supplies the drum scale ready to use and can calibrate it on site. Stainless steel decks are recommended for corrosive liquids and food products, and a guard rail can be added to stop drums rolling off.
