Concrete-Deck Weighbridge, 60–100 Tonnes, Steel-Reinforced

A concrete-deck weighbridge uses a steel frame or pan filled with reinforced concrete as the weighing platform. The concrete adds mass and stiffness, giving a solid, quiet deck that resists wear from constant heavy traffic, abrasion and corrosion better than a bare steel top plate.

In Nigeria it is a good fit for quarries, cement and aggregate depots, ports, steel mills, fertiliser and grain plants and any site where loaded trailers cross the bridge all day. It can be installed surface-mounted with ramps or flush in a pit.

The package covers the steel modules, reinforcement and concrete pour, load cells, junction box, cabling and indicator, followed by curing, installation and calibration with certified test weights. Because the concrete must cure before calibration, allow extra time on the programme compared with an all-steel bridge. We also advise on the foundation and civil works the site will need.
