Cement Silo 50 Tonne – Bolted or Welded Steel with Screw Conveyor

A 50-tonne cement silo stores bulk cement on site and feeds it by screw conveyor to the cement weigh hopper of a concrete batching plant. Buying cement in bulk instead of bags reduces handling, bag waste and spillage, and keeps cement dry during the rainy season.

In Nigeria, 50-tonne silos are the usual size for 25–35 m³/h batching plants, block and paving-stone factories, precast yards and large construction sites. They are also used for fly ash, lime and other dry powders.
