500kg / 1,000kg Cast-Iron Test Weights for Weighbridges

Large cast-iron test weights are the standard way to check and calibrate weighbridges, truck scales and high-capacity floor and crane scales. These 500 kg and 1,000 kg block weights are cast in iron, painted for protection, and fitted with forklift pockets or lifting eyes so they can be placed accurately on the deck.

In Nigeria they are used by weighbridge owners at quarries, cement and flour mills, ports and terminals, oil depots, agro-processors and logistics yards, as well as by scale service companies. Regular testing with known weights confirms that every load cell reads correctly and helps keep your weighbridge trusted by customers and inspectors.

Weights are delivered by truck and offloaded with a forklift or crane. A calibration certificate can be arranged on request. Kira Scales can also carry out full weighbridge calibration at your site using our own test weights, which may be more economical than buying a complete set.
