A cassava peeling machine removes the outer skin and soil from fresh cassava tubers using a rotating drum or brush rollers with water spray. It replaces slow, labour-intensive hand peeling and prepares roots for grating, pressing and frying.
In Nigeria it is used by garri, fufu, lafun, high-quality cassava flour (HQCF) and starch processors, farm clusters and processing centres in states such as Ogun, Oyo, Benue, Cross River, Edo and Enugu. Faster peeling means fresher roots reach the grater and less starch is lost to delays.
Peeling results depend on tuber size, freshness and variety, so some hand finishing may still be needed. Kira Scales can supply the peeler with a cassava grater, hydraulic press, garri fryer and weighing scales for a complete small processing line, and we show operators how to run and clean the machine.
We deliver to all 36 states and the FCT. Tell us your daily tonnage and request a quote.
