50 Tonne Pit-Type Weighbridge – 18 m x 3 m Flush-Mounted Deck

The 50 tonne pit-type weighbridge has an 18 m x 3 m steel deck installed in a reinforced concrete pit, so the weighing surface sits level with the surrounding ground. With no ramps, trucks can drive on and off from either end, and the bridge takes up less yard length than a surface-mounted unit.

Pit-type bridges are favoured by factories, warehouses, flour and feed mills, breweries and depots in Nigeria where space at the gate is limited, or where vehicles must cross the bridge in both directions. They also give a neat, level finish at busy entrances.
