40 / 50 Tonne Compression Column Load Cell for Weighbridges

A compression column load cell, also called a canister or column cell, carries the load straight down through a compact steel column. Rated at 40 or 50 tonnes per cell, it is a strong choice for heavy-duty and extra-heavy weighbridges as well as large tanks, silos and hoppers.

Nigerian quarries, cement plants, ports and haulage yards often choose column cells for weighbridges that handle fully loaded tippers and container trucks. With a self-restoring column design, the deck can move slightly as trucks brake and still return to centre.
